Institute for Central American Studies

MISSION STATEMENT

The central goal of the Institute for Central American Studies is to encourage dialogue, mutual trade and cultural exchange between the peoples of the United States and Central America through educational and charitable activities for the mutual benefit of all parties, through:

•      Assessing the education needs of developing countries.
•      Designing solutions to meet those needs in conjunction with local nonprofit agencies and individuals.
•      Raising funds to further the purposes of the corporation.
•      Raising in-kind contributions of items to donate to noncommercial health care providers in developing communities.
•      Delivering charitable, humanitarian aid to disadvantaged groups in Central America and to noncommercial organizations that aid them.

The Institute for Central American Studies works to accomplish its goals by coordinating and supporting the activities of various projects.
